Oh sweet Charley! She’s always had the best lashes. She’s grown a lot since our last session. So tall now at 3 1/2 years old. She was showing off her skills of being able to stand for me {and since these photos were taken she even took a few steps}.

You might recognize this doll baby from her fan page on FaceBook: Smiles for Baby Charley {click here to go to her page}. Her mama always post the cutest videos of Charley exploring our world. But not all of them are full of smiles. Charley is battling brain cancer “Pilocytic Astrocytoma” for most of her life. As a result of this, Charley has completely lost her vision and is strictly tube fed. Gagging and nausea/ throwing up are constant issues for Charley and make it extremely difficult for oral feeding. She just started another round of chemo. Somehow she finds a way to smile for her awesome mama and brother.

Taking care of a child with cancer is a full time job. Her mom is a single mom who has dedicated her life to taking care of both her children Elijah and Charley.
