Pensacola Beach Maternity Session – Sonya

Let me first start by saying I love this girl! We’ve known each other since high school. I think I cried when she told me she was pregnant. She’s been wanting/needing a baby for a long time. Finally her dreams are coming true. Beyond thrilled to be able to do her maternity session for her. We headed out to Pensacola Beach to show off that belly. Sonya is a total beach girl and lives in Sarasota on the beach so it’s a perfect location. The hardest part was figuring out what to wear. Sonya would look good in a trash bag so no worries there, just so many options and wanted to get them all. You’ll see my favorite at the end. Not a lot of people would think to put sequins on a pregnant lady on the beach, but man oh man did it work. Her beautiful personality and mama glow shines. What started out as blue skies, quickly evolved into what I like to call an orange crush kind of night. The tide, waves, and clouds all mixed together… I was freaking out at the session and then again when I got home. I’m so in love with this session and the art that we created. These images are so precious and so meaningful to Sonya, I know she will cherish them forever. I was so honored to be apart of this journey in her life.

She’s going to be having a girl named Josie. So fitting. I’m so excited to meet her in a few months! I love her already! Pensacola Beach Maternity Photography
